Perm Rating
Standard acrylic paint: 5-10. Romabio Masonry Flat: 300+. Moisture passes through freely — protecting your brick from freeze-thaw damage.
Warranty
Masonry Flat and Masonry Textured carry a 20-year limited warranty. The strongest warranty in the masonry paint category. No competitor matches it.
Sq Ft / Gallon
Up to 450 sq ft of coverage per gallon after dilution. Competitors average 100-200 sq ft. Better coverage means lower material cost.
VOC (g/L)
Masonry Textured and Velatura Mineralwash are zero VOC. Classico is 3.9 g/L. Standard exterior paint: 50-250 g/L.

The OriginalUnpainted brick, stone, and masonry (interior & exterior)
Authentic Italian slaked lime from the Dolomites. Creates the signature mottled, antique finish that limewash is known for. Translucent and artisan — some of the original brick or stone shows through, giving each surface unique character.
1 coat for classic wash, 2 for more coverage

Potassium silicate mineral paint that calcifies to the surface — forming a chemical bond that will never peel, chip, or flake. Flat European finish that looks natural, not "painted." Available in dark colors that Classico can't achieve.

Same potassium silicate chemistry as Masonry Flat with added natural aggregate for a granular, stucco-like texture. Fills grooves in rough "bark" brick for a more uniform surface, or adds Mediterranean texture to smooth surfaces.

Velatura Mineralwash
Interior DrywallDrywall and painted interior surfaces (INTERIOR ONLY)
Mineral-based decorative paint that creates the limewash look on standard drywall. Two-coat artisan technique using brush and cloth produces clouds of color, movement, and depth — like aged European plaster walls.

Invisible, breathable protective topcoat for exterior limewash and masonry finishes
Repels water droplets while allowing vapor to pass through. Won't change the look or texture. PFAS-free. Prevents algae, moss, and mold. Apply after the paint has fully cured.

MicroGrip Primer
Required when applying Masonry Flat/Textured over painted surfaces, concrete, stucco, Hardie board, or wood
Fine-aggregate mineral primer that creates a bondable surface. One coat, diluted 30% with water. Dries in 8-12 hours.
Coverage: 1,300-1,800 sq ft per 15L bucket
Lime Slurry
Thick, plaster-like lime coating for the most dramatic textured finish
Authentic Italian Dolomite lime. Much thicker than Classico — creates a heavily textured, old-world plaster look. Brush-applied only. 20-25 days for full carbonation.
Coverage: 50-60 sq ft/liter
